Last night was mine and Chrissy's sister day. We met at the Jordan Commons in Sandy and went and saw Bride Wars. We both thought it was a good movie, pretty funny. I really liked it. I have to share an "Ericka moment" I had at the theater. If you know my older sister you'll know what I mean by that, I love you Ericka!!! So we were talking and Philadelphia came into the subject since I was talking about the movie Marley and Me and how much I loved where they lived in that movie. So Chrissy asks me what state Philadelphia is in and I give her one of my looks (my family knows the look) and I tell her "That is the state!" And I was totally serious. Then like a minute later I was like, "well, is Philadelphia in PA?" She wasn't exactly sure so we googled it and it is. But the way I was so sure it was a state she felt kinda stupid for thinking it was a city! We laughed for awhile about that. We had a lot of fun last night and did a lot of talking which was nice. I love our sister days! And I'm grateful for our wonderful husbands that allow us that time for each other, even when it means they are home by themselves for most of a Saturday night. You guys are great!

But, I know that Philadelphia is in PA. I wouldn't have had to google it. It's the "CITY of Brotherly Love"...didn't ya know!
Yeah but we quesitoned what state it was in, (At least I did). And we also expect trains to be on rails and didn't get excited about it! :) "Look! It's a train! AND IT'S ON RAILS!!! Lol!
Look - it comes from MY gene pool. You both have a mom who took a super-heated fork and stuck it in her mouth to taste what she had been cooking. I totally BRANDED my lower lip - instantly blistered, peeled, got swollen and you could see the three prong marks imprinted in my lip. Not in the past - just this Sunday.
Enjoy the DNA soup you came from!
Just have to take a stand for myself. My "Ericka-isms" are when I'm thinking TWO differant things at the same time and they come out combined when I say them...or I just mix up my words. So, I don't appreciate you calling it an "Ericka moment", it doesn't even fit something that I would do or say.
HA! Bride wars...such a girl thing.
